The Vernon Jazz Society:
We were incorporated as a non-profit society on Nov. 30, 1999 and we are into our tenth season -- having hosted over 200 evening gigs and brown-bag lunch concerts.
"We hold bi-weekly gigs from September until June in our wonderfully funky upstairs venue with wood-panelled walls, hammered-tin ceiling trim, and oil lamps on cloth-covered tables.
We feature a licenced adult 8pm concert, doors open @ 7:15. Our dance floor is always open.
We easily seat 150 patrons cabaret-style, and each table has good sight lines.
We serve wine, beer, coolers, high-balls, coffee, pop, and water at our bar, and the dance floor accommodates 10 or more couples."
